Effect of Surface Layer and Hydrogen on the Fatigue Strength of an Al-4%Ge Alloy

چکیده

In this study, the effect of surface layer and hydrogen on fatigue strength Al-4%Ge alloy was investigated. As results, following points were clarified. (1) Tensile specimen subjected to Ni-P plating after aging treatment or furnace cooling improved by about 10% in comparison one non-processed specimens. (2) Breaking elongation showed no significant changes On other hand, breaking a reduced 70% (3) Fatigue overall rather than (4) reduced, except for low-stress region, (5) treatment, clear desorption recognized. there only from few Especially, it is considered that poor ductility materials are mainly due interaction between precipitates gas.
